The historical city of Avignon is easily accessible. It is connected to Paris and other French cities by an airport and a TGV (high speed train which reaches Paris in two and a half hours and the Charles de Gaulle airport in two hours and forty five minutes). The international airport in Marseilles is only one hour away and that in Nice is two and a half hours by car. Superhighway A7 passes five minutes west of Avignon.
