Access
By road
If you have a GPS, you can trust it. Otherwise, follow the directions below.
From Paris or Bordeaux :
- On the A63 motorway, take exit 8, direction D28, Bénesse-Maremme.
Then :
- Follow the D28 to Bénesse-Maremme. You will cross two small traffic circles.
- At the 3rd traffic circle, take the 3rd exit, direction Saubrigues.
- Immediately turn right, route de Saubrigues, for about 2 km.
- Turn right onto route d’Orx. Follow this road, which then becomes route du Moulin for just over 3 km.
- Turn right onto route de Saubrigues and go straight on at the fork.
- After 900 m, continue straight ahead (do not turn right) onto chemin de l’île.
From Toulouse :
- On the A64 motorway, take exit 6, towards Peyrehorade, then continue on the A641 and take the D33 towards Dax.
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse.
- Continue to the point where you cross the Adour, then take the first turning on the left. Continue to Saint-Jean-de-Marsacq.
- Follow signs for Saubrigues then Orx.
- In Orx, turn right onto Route des Pyrénées.
- After 900 m, continue straight ahead (do not turn right) on chemin de l’île.
By plane
- Biarritz airport 28 km away. Direct flights to Paris with Air France and Transavia, and London with Ryanair. Car rental on site with Avis or Europcar.
